The Town of St. Paul Utility Bills were mailed on Thursday, November 14th. If you do not receive your bill due to the Canada Post strike, please reach out to the Finance Dept at 780-645-4481 to assist. The deadline for payment will remain as November 30, 2024. Oct 5, 2023:  Developer held an Open House. To rezone property from Residential Medium Density District (R2) to Institutional District (I).

Dec 22, 2023:  The developer has provided their public engagement report to Town Administration for review. The developer's full report can be found under the Jan 22 date for first reading.

Jan 22, 2024 Regular Council Meeting: Town Council passed first reading to the proposed bylaw to obtain public input. Click here for a copy of the complete Request For Decision (report) presented to Town Council by Administration.  

*Click this link to see the Land Use Bylaw regulations (fencing & screening of the site, security measures, etc.) that the developer would need to comply with before opening.  These would be conditions attached to the development permit, should the rezoning be granted by Town Council.

Jan 23, 2024: Public Hearing Notice first posted to the Town's website.

Jan 24, 2024:  Click here for a copy of the notice sent to adjacent owners within 50m.  The notice includes the letter of intent which describes the proposal and a "What we've heard" report from the Public Open House.

Feb 12, 2024 Regular Council Meeting / 7:30 p.m.:  The public hearing to obtain public input (in favour or opposed) will be held by Town Council. Click here for a copy of the Public Hearing Notice and proposed bylaw & to find out how you may participate in the upcoming hearing.  ***Written comments due Feb 6, 2024 at 12Noon.***

Feb 12, 2024 Regular Council Meeting (after the public hearing): Council defeated 2nd reading of the proposed bylaw. The property remains zoned as R2.  This rezoning file is now closed.
