Water Bills

Water bills are sent out every two months and you can pay them at the office by cheque, cash, or debit.  If you are unable to come into the office, you are able to make payments through online banking or telephone banking.  You can also set up automatic withdrawals by filling out a form and including a void cheque.  Please contact us at 780-645-4481 to sign up.

Please remember to read your meter every billing period, you can phone it in or write it on the bottom of your bill and bring it to the office or email it to utilities@town.stpaul.ab.ca with your address and account number.

 

Taxes

Taxes are sent out June 1st and are due July 3, 2019 and you can pay them at the office by cheque, cash or debit.  If you are unable to come into the office, you are able to make payments through online banking or telephone banking.  You can also set up automatic withdrawals by filling out a form and including a void cheque.  In order to set this up you must have your taxes paid in full and submit everything before the end of December to begin auto-payments for the following tax year.

Taxes unpaid by the July 3, 2019 will be subject to a 10% penalty.  If taxes are still not paid by January 1st of the following year there will be another 15% penalty applied to the any amounts outstanding.

 

Animal License

If you own a cat or dog you are required to purchase a license as per By-law 1131 & 1174
The cost of a Cat License is as follows:

  • Lifetime for male/female - $50.00
  • Lifetime for neutered/spayed - $35.00
  • Yearly for male/female - $20.00
  • Yearly for neutered/spayed - $10.00

The cost of a Dog License is as follows:

  • Yearly for male/female - $20.00
  • Yearly for neutered/spayed - $10.00

 

Business License

You must apply for a Business License in order to carry on business within the Town of St. Paul as per By-law 1254.
